A new wave of aggressive yoga classes incorporates cardio, CrossFit, and even boxing to get fitness results.

As a model working in South Africa in the early 2000s, Tracie Wright Vlaun started doing yoga along with her fitness regimen to help her deal with the mental toll that the fashion industry can sometimes inflict. “To let go of all the BS,” is how she put it. One of the most exhilarating and fulfilling events combining well-being with fashion, was the SELF Magazine/Shiseido Brunch that took place on Saturday, July 18,2015 beginning at 10:00 a.m.. With acceptance of the invitation, that entitled guests attending Miami Swim Week the opportunity to receive an exclusive Surf Fit Workout followed by a beach brunch of nutritional favorites along with some delicious desserts. Presented by Shiseido Cosmetics, the skincare, makeup and sun care experts and hosted by top lifestyle media mag, SELF Magazine,  Miami Beach Edition turned out to be the perfect venue for a beachside event.

Greeted at 10:00 a.m. by a representative from Shiseido who was eager to share samples of the best-selling, highest rated sun care SPF 50+ lotion, able to withstand sun, sand and surf all day long, attendees seemed ready to warm up and create inner well-being to last the length of the day. There to see them through their workout was the amazing husband and wife team of Chris and Tracie Vlaun, founders of popular V-Art Of Wellness, a totally healthy all-inclusive lifestyle and fitness program for those individuals desiring to live the nourishing and wholesome lifestyle. Chris and Tracie gave off a powerful energy that was difficult to resist. With an interesting past and sharing a common bond for the same passions in life, the two took to the beach to share some yoga poses, surfing stretches and a cool down to prepare their students for the remainder of the day.
